How to Review and Provide Feedback on Tasks

Introduction

Efficiently reviewing and approving creative work is crucial, whether you're working with images, documents, videos, or web pages. This guide covers the basics, helping you review, provide clear feedback, and keep everything organized with ease.

Steps to Follow to Review and Approve Files

  • Step 1: Getting Started

You will be sent a link to gain access to the file or files. Once you receive an invitation to review a file, click the invitation link and it will take you directly to the project page. If this is your first time, create an account, or simply log in if you already have one.

  • Step 2: Reviewing Files

The link will take you directly to the file you’ve been asked to review. Depending on the file type, you can play videos, scroll through document pages, or zoom in on images. You’ll also have access to comment tools, enabling you to provide feedback directly on specific areas of the file for clear and effective collaboration.

  • Step 3: Leaving Feedback

Simply click on the exact spot within the file where you'd like to add a comment, type your feedback in the comment box, and click "Submit." You can also reply to other comments to clarify or discuss further with other reviewers. For videos, feedback can be added at specific timestamps by pausing at the desired moment and leaving a comment.

  • Step 4: Approving Files

When you're satisfied with the file, click "Approve" if it meets all expectations. If further adjustments are required, select "Request Changes" and provide clear details about what needs to be updated. This ensures the team knows exactly what to revise before resubmitting the file.

  • Step 5: Tracking Changes and Revisions

Whenever changes are made, you’ll receive a notification that a new version of the file has been uploaded. You can open the updated file and compare versions side by side, enabling you to review all previous feedback and confirm that your requested changes have been implemented. Based on the revised version, you can either approve the file or provide new feedback for further adjustments.

Websites don’t run themselves. You don’t just publish them, and that’s it. Nope. Someone has to log in every day or week to run software updates and add to or change the content. If you don’t have the skill or time to do this yourself, you'll have to hire someone to do it for you.

A short loom video walkthrough has been included below to make the process even easier to understand.
